House Intelligence Committee ranking member Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) lambasted the Hillary Clinton campaign for creating the “sick fantasy” of Donald Trump colluding with Russia to distract from her own crimes.
In an interview on Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures”, Nunes explained to host Maria Bartiromo that Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe’s recently declassified memos suggesting Hillary Clinton actually created the Russia collusion hoax was over the target and more evidence is forthcoming.
“There’s plenty of circumstantial evidence to know this Maria, that the Clinton campaign had created all of this, because they knew that 33,000 emails were out there somewhere,” Nunes said.
“So what did they do? They created a sick fantasy. This was the Clinton campaign. The Clinton campaign created this sick fantasy. Then they went out and hired avatars to do it.”
“So they hired a former British spy named [Christopher] Steele who did the ‘Steele Dossier,'” Nunes continued. “Then they hired this suspected Russian spy so they could give it a veneer of being a Russian. So imagine that.”
Nunes then pointed out how the media has been totally silent after reports emerged showing Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden was paid $3.5 million from the mayor of Moscow’s wife in 2014.
“Now you have the Democrats hiring Russian spies, getting three and half million dollars from Moscow, and nobody in the media seems to give a damn about it,” Nunes said.
Nunes then said that unless the intelligence agencies surrender “every damn bit of evidence” surrounding the Russia hoax, then they should be shut down.
“Every Republican, Senator and member of Congress, should be saying ‘this is over.’ We want every damn bit of evidence that every intelligence agency has or it may be time to shut those agencies down,” he said.
“Because at the end of the day our liberties are more important than anything else we have in this country. They have been stampeded over by these dirty cops, and the Democrat party and the media who fails to report on it.”
Last week, Ratcliffe had revealed in a memo to the Senate Judiciary Committee that the Clinton campaign created the Russia hoax to distract from her email scandal leading up to the 2016 election, which received virtually no coverage from the mainstream media.
